SageNet Announces Key Appointments to its Executive Leadership Team
TULSA, Okla. – July 15, 2021 — SageNet, a Tulsa-based managed services and cybersecurity solutions provider, has announced three new appointments in its executive leadership team. The three appointees, Chairman, CEO and COO, are all SageNet veterans, and deeply experienced leaders within the managed services industry. They will play instrumental roles in guiding SageNet in its technological advancement, operational excellence, and strategic growth. The appointments include:
Brad Wise, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
SageNet founder Daryl Woodard has appointed current President Brad Wise as the company’s new CEO. Over the past 8 years, Wise has led SageNet’s steady growth as an industry leader, expanded the company’s product and services offerings, maintained an exceptional customer retention rate, and grown SageNet to more than 450 employees. As CEO Wise will be responsible for creating and communicating SageNet’s vision, defining its mission, and leading the organization to achieve its objectives.
John Meek, Chief Operating Officer (COO)
John Meek has been named SageNet’s Chief Operating Officer. Meek, who joined SageNet in 2017, currently serves as the company’s Vice President, Project Management Office. In his role in the newly created COO position he will be responsible for operationalizing the organization’s mission and vision, with responsibility for the company’s daily administration and operations. Prior to joining SageNet, Meek held leadership positions in start-ups and major corporations where he has been recognized for his strong managerial and analytical leadership approach.
Daryl Woodard, Chairman and Founder
Current CEO and Founder Daryl Woodard will move into a new role as Chairman. Woodard will continue to be actively involved in SageNet, meeting with key customers and providing the leadership team with stewardship, advice, and guidance in reaching the organization’s long-term goals. In addition, Woodard will continue to spearhead the company’s strategic acquisition activities.
“These appointments represent the latest steps in SageNet’s steady evolution,” said Woodard. “Now in our 23rd year, we’ve grown from start-up to one of the industry’s leading managed services partners. Brad’s move to CEO, and John’s appointment to our new COO position reflect our fundamental belief that SageNet must combine the systems, processes, and operational excellence of a major corporation with the innovative thinking and agility of a start-up.”
New CEO Brad Wise agrees. “Daryl and I have been working together for almost a decade. We see these new appointments as catalysts for change. Yet, we will also remain true to the fundamentals that have brought us so much success. We remain steadfastly focused on one goal: to provide our customers the very best solutions and support as we pursue our vision to be the managed services benchmark by which all others are measured,” said Wise.
